Criteria for award:

A. Only seniors are eligible.
B. Must have high academic standing.
C. Must be in attendance two (2) years at RSHS.
D. Must be active in school activities.

How they are elected:

A. Faculty Honors Committee has nominated eight (8) seniors.
B. Full faculty is to vote on four (4) of the eight (8) seniors.
C. Four finalist will be announced.
D. Student body will vote by secret ballot for the two (2) finalists.
E. Faculty Honors Committee is responsible for voting procedures.
