Chemistry II

The full depth and breadth of inorganic chemistry cannot be adequately studied in one chemistry course. Advanced studies in physical chemistry are necessary to fully understand the fundamentals of the subject and to lay the groundwork for organic chemistry. In this course, the balance between theory and practice is more pronounced, allowing students to explore the highly specialized areas of chemistry such as industrial, organic and biochemistry. Scientific research is a component; students shall complete a major report defending their research. Students who plan to study science or medicine in college should consider this course essential, particularly those who will eventually study organic chemistry.
