Physics describes the Universe and how all things operate
within it. From the tiniest subatomic particle to the
gigantic ballet of planetary motion, it is physics
that describes the interplay of matter. Nearly all
of the atomic structure studied in chemistry classes
today was proposed by physicists. This is because physics
deals with the behavior of matter; it is the most basic
of sciences. Born out of ancient philosophy and supported
by mathematics, this challenging branch of science
began with the simple question, “why?”
