- Matter: a basic understanding of physical properties and the types of changes it can go through
- Energy: comes from a variety of sources can be transmitted in various forms such as different types of light and sound which have many individual properties
- Living Oganisms: exist in our world in several forms, possess their own characteristics and interact in many different ways
- Earth: water, rocks,and soil are features and resources that are affected by a variety of external processes and activity including human activity both immediately and over a period of time
- Inquiry and technology are critical to understanding in science
eMINTS changes how teachers teach and students learn. Its instructional model provides a research-based approach to organizing instruction and can be implemented in any subject area at any level. The eMINTS instructional model enables educators to
- create classrooms where all students are motivated to succeed socially and academically,
- fully incorporate technology investments into teaching and learning,
- build enthusiasm and creativity into daily teaching.
