RSMS Cross Country

Hello! This is the RSMS Cross Country website. Cross Country is a sport in which seven athletes race each other on a 1.5 mile course. These courses are usually through parks or on golf courses, but some school's have they're own course, like Reeds Spring. For practice, members run on the high school cross country course, on the track, or in neighborhoods with little traffic. Middle school runners will compete at Strafford, Nixa, Branson, Springfield Catholic, and Buffalo for the COC middle school race. Coach Locke gave us the quote from the runners shirts that says, "You can HIDE...but you can't RUN!!!"

Congratulations to the Cross Country Boys for their first place finish in the Strafford Invitational on Saturday. Finishing first for the team, and recieving a 3rd place medal was Joel Gerlson. Great job guys!

Congratualations to the Junior High Boys who took 3rd place in the Lebanon Invitational. Also, congratulations to Joel Gerlson for finishing 3rd place overall
